the past 2 days have been really horrible with the sickness, am finally getting over it now so i'm feeling real good to breathe right once again esp after sailing today. we managed to get a 2,2. not great but we won the day, tricky day. what lies ahead this week is a really tough one. game on biatxxches

&. ive come to the realization that this will be my 7th year staying in a hostel. after which i will be in the army and its another 2 years away from home. 9 years altogether. as i always say- the road less travelled.

just cant believe im so darn unlucky to hit 6 times. i dont think anyone decent even misses 6 windshifts in a race. thank god for cjays and roger sanchez.

okay its 8/1/2010 today, time flies so quickly. I had a fairly good 2009 and sure am looking forward to 2010. 2009 ended with only 1 title from Aust nats, 3rd at kiel week and 4th at youth worlds. I guess sailing wise, this is the year to make up for it and there wasnt a better way to start it off and send a message. Gonna start with ASC in China in march which i will miss grams, qing's birthday. Germany in june, Israel in july and asian games in china in november. obviously barring selections which i have to qualify myself for.

Its actually gonna be a very challenging year ahead if i qualify for all the trips, i have to miss 1/3 of school because my holidays are all screwed up due to sports school hosting the yog events. my june holidays are pushing back to july-sept. okay, i shall study smarter and at least maintain my gpa or hopefully increase it by 0.2.

Hopefully i will get my car license soon sometime this year+ powerboat license. i'm also gonna save up my spextag this year so that in december i will be able to fund for my own trip to melbourne and sydney for some summer sailing in skiffs and surfing. hopefully all goes well and i will earn my qualifications for the sailing trips, at least maintain my grades and have a fking awesome summer with my gf in aus.

if i can achieve all that for 2010, i'll have no complains and enlist myself into army with peace. but to begin my year ahead here's to you M- I N D -E F .. F K U. and thats for not letting my partner(sailing) enlist earlier.

when i am out at sea, i think yeh, this is it. me hanging out of the boat, the wind is 20-25knots and waves. shark infested waters. i get this adrenaline that i cant find anywhere else. i was afraid when i had to jump into the water today to help my teammates, but this feeling i get lets me know that i am alive. Now u know why my dream is to own a 49er and take that boat to the maximum. i thrive when things get hardest. anw guys, merry christmas. its 3am here in aust, tired but feelin good. feeling like tomorrow could be a better day. well it should be, today was a pretty darn hard day to get through esp as it got through. FML

defo walkin on a dream.and its my dream.

it has been a crazy week, been going through lots of 17 hour days. i spent some of my time last week at the extreme40s asia series with the Red Bull team. Thanks once again to Red Bull Singapore for the once in the life time opportunity to go onboard the Red Bull boat and mingle around with the crew. Red Bull has a crew of 4 sailing the boat and they all have got tremendous achievements in sailing, they've got Austrians Roman Hargara and Hans Peter whom won the gold medal at the sydney and athens olympics in the tornado class. Andrew Macpherson from Australia whom won countless titles in f18s and the Sydney to hobart race, lastly the bowman- david from Spain whom also did the Volvo Ocean Race this year and was on team telefonica blue. It was just such a great experience for me especially going through 2 training sessions with them on board and as a 5th man crew during the competition itself.

Mylene and Jf came back from Sea Games last night with lots of medals and they owe qing and i a treat. Actually thinking back now, it has been 2 years since i did a major games for singapore, missing the feeling quite a bit now. hopefully the army get their shitz sorted out soon.

O yeh, at the extreme40s event last week, i met Mark Teo. He is a freelance photographer and that dude's work is sickk!. he's all for extreme and style. i just visited his website and i can safely say that i have not seen photos so beautiful before, least in singapore. He took his 2 DSLR's out to sea, it started pouring heavily and he just wrapped a plastic bag over the cameras and started shooting. All in all, we had at least 15k of camera stuff on the boat, he even refused to put his camera into the waterproof bag we had because he wanted some shots of the Red Bull team sailing in the rain. i hope he got the shots he wanted and the spoiled camera is repaired now, gnna post some pics of what i found on his website. Anw the gf's in Shanghai now, and i finished my last trng session 2 days ago. been just bumming around the house plus gym. i think qing and i got to a stage where we are able to live without each other so thats a good thing, we're becoming more independent as we progress. Qing if u read this wear more clothes, its a fridge there now!.
